Children's favourite superheroes took to the streets in the annual Ballinasloe Library Comic-Con at the weekend.

OUT OF The Wild Sky, the 2018 Macnas Halloween parade, celebrating the act of transformation, creating in its wake, a hypnotic, intoxicating, glittering, mysterious world, filled with shadow and nobility, takes place next week.

Out Of The Wild Sky, the 2018 Macnas parade, which promises to unleash "a world that is hypnotic and intoxicating, glittering, mysterious, and filled with shadow and nobility," upon Galway streets, takes place at the end of next month.

MACNAS IS best known, and hugely acclaimed, for its street parades, but there will be a chance to see a different side to its creative artists, in an exhibition on the Aran Islands.

In Sight is an exhibition of cross-disciplinary art work at Charlestown Arts Centre by artists associated with renowned Galway-based performance company, Macnas. The exhibition opens on Sunday, December 3 and runs until Friday, December 22.
