The Galway u-21 footballers will now face a highly-rated Roscommon outfit after defeating Mayo by 1-12 to 0-11 in McHale Park on Saturday evening.

Tomorrow evening in Elverys MacHale Park, Mayo will be looking to make it back into the Connacht u21 final for the first time since 2009 when they take on Galway in the provincial semi-final.

Unfortunately the Galway minor footballers had a very short championship this season, as they crashed out of the competition last Saturday evening at Tuam Stadium, losing to Roscommon on a scoreline of 1-11 to 1-9 after extra time.

The crowds may have been glued to a stunning All-Ireland football final on Sunday last but the squash players playing at the one-day event in Carlow LTC produced their own epic performances.
