AFTER ITS critically acclaimed production of Patricia Burke Brogan’s Eclipsed last year, Mephisto Theatre Company returns to the Town Hall Theatre with one of the most controversial plays of the last decade – Blackbird, by Scottish playwright David Harrower.

A concert, which is being likened to a ‘mini-festival’, celebrating the life and work of the late Town Hall Theatre manager Mike Diskin, takes place in the Town Hall on Sunday March 30.

The legacy of Mike Diskin will be honoured at a major commemorative concert in the Town Hall Theatre this month, as well as the launch of an artist’s bursary for new and innovative arts projects in the city.
