All on the line for Mayo on Sunday

It's do or die from now on in for Mayo. That was always going to be the case no matter what happened last weekend against Cork, but from being six points up and looking like they had two feet in the All Ireland quarter-finals proper after topping their group - they ended up in losing by three points and finishing in third place and now have to hit the road this Sunday, rather than having a week's break.

Question Time comes for Mayo on Saturday

On Saturday a lot of questions will be answered as Derry come to Elvery's MacHale Park for a do or die qualifier game against Mayo. Again we find ourselves having to take the scenic route in pursuit of glory; again our county seems divided with opinion about the prospects of our team.

All or nothing for Mayo on Sunday

What a difference a week makes. The Jekyll and Hyde side of Mayo football was never so evident as in their last three performances. Mayo put in a real gutsy performance against Tyrone in sun-drenched Healy Park Omagh last weekend to boost our chances of survival in the top flight. I wondered was it the same team that played Cavan the previous week. The football wasn't brilliant but this was all about the result. Mayo will probably still have to beat Donegal on Sunday to guarantee safety, as a confident Cavan will surely beat a demoralised Roscommon.
