St Joseph’s Community College Hosts Tea Day Fundraiser for MND
Fifth year students in St Joseph’s Community College Charlestown are hosting a tea day fundraiser for Motor Neuron Disease (MND) on Monday, March 27th from 11am to 1pm at St. Joseph's Community College Hall as part of their St. Vincent de Paul Youth for Justice Project.
Dawn Meats raise €4,000 for Motor Neurone Disease
The Irish Motor Neurone Disease Association (IMNDA) have thanked all the staff in Dawn Meats, Ballyhaunis for holding a Drink Tea for MND event and raising the fantastic sum of €4,000. The cheque was presented to the IMNDA Nurse, Fidelma Rutledge, on Friday last.
Tomás Guiry runs 260km to raise over €13k for motor neurone disease
Mayo native Tomás Guiry this week presented staff at the Irish Motor Neurone Disease Association (IMNDA) with a cheque for €13,805.66. The Foxford local ran 52 individual 5km races in 2017 to raise the much needed funds for the charity. Mr Guiry chose to undertake this mammoth challenge as his aunt Breda Cherakai sadly passed away from motor neurone disease.
