The Michael F Dolan Student Business Awards were presented at Presentation College Athenry recently. The awards were presented to senior and junior Aaward winners who sat their Leaving Cert and Junior Cert in 2014.

The Galway Study Centre will offer two weeks of intensive revision during the Easter holiday period. Leaving Cert revision will take place during the first week of the holidays, from Monday March 31 to Saturday April 4, while the Junior Cert classes will be held from Tuesday April 7 to Saturday April 11. In addition, during the second week, a strictly supervised study programme will be available to Leaving Cert students.

Some 55,000 Leaving Cert students began their State exams yesterday, with English being the first test in a series of exams lasting over two weeks.

A two week summer course in Leaving Cert Project Maths (higher level) will take place at Bru na Pairce, Killarney, from July 28 to August 8.

The summer programmes at the French Institute in Bridge Mills are set to begin from May 19.
