TOBIAS WOLFF, the American writer best known for his 1989 memoir This Boy's Life, will take part in the 2016 Cúirt International Festival of Literature, which will be launched in The House Hotel on Tuesday March 8 at 6pm.

Starting next Friday, November 6, Ballina Arts Centre will host three nights of drama, with the first Ballina One Act Drama Festival taking over the centre. This event has been developed by a local committee and is aiming to establish a wide appreciation of drama in the area. The committee looks forward to extending a traditional warm Ballina welcome to all visiting groups, festival followers, and the local public.

Christy Moore, Mairtin O’Connor, Louis De Paor, Mick Flannery, and Fr Peter Mc Verry are among the many names who will be taking part in the 38th Clifden Arts Festival, which runs from Thursday September 17 to Sunday 27, and features theatre, literary, comedy and music events, workshops, and more than 200 family events.
