After it was revealed last week that HIQA had issued the HSE with an Notice of Proposal to Cancel Registration for Centre 2 at Aras Attracta Swinford, the Mayo Advertiser contacted the HSE looking for a comment on the issue. The HSE did issue a statement, but it was received after the print edition of the paper had gone to the printers.

Shakespeare in the Park comes to Kiltimagh

This evening, Friday, William Shakespeare’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream will take to the stage in The Sculpture Park in Kiltimagh for a very worthy cause with donations being accepted for Western Care Association. The production is being put on by The Non Prophet Organisation from Claremorris, the group have already put on a performance of the bard’s famous play earlier this year in McMahon Park in Claremorris, and it is hoped that a good crowd will come out to see the performance and donate to Western Care Association which works with people who are living with disability and face many difficult challenges on a daily baisis.
