Galway based platform Inspiring You has gone one step further and organised a song competition for school students of all ages with the iconic Dublin balladeer Damien Dempsey. The theme of the competition is "sing all your cares away," with the winning entry receiving a class visit from Dempsey.

Galway footballer Eoghan Kerin, joined other players from the Gaelic Players Association (GPA) to help launch the fifth National Children’s Hospice Week campaign, which this year runs from May 20-26 and is themed “Moments that Matter.” This focus highlights how precious time is for children with life-limiting conditions and their families, and that capturing and savouring the big and small moments every day can accumulate into valuable memories to cherish for years to come.
