Thirteen Mayo firefighters with a combined service record of 270 years, were honoured at the National Fire Service Awards in Dublin on Thursday last.
Celtic Flames present their spectacular show of music, song and dance in The Town Hall, Westport on Saturday, August 12 at 8pm. Celtic Flames is an exciting 24 piece mixed music group, based in Galway and ranging in ages from six to 60, who play and perform a quality eclectic mix of traditional Irish music, song and dance fused with a more contemporary idiom. Formed originally as a ten piece group in 2011, it has grown to include the top young talent to emerge from the west of Ireland in recent years and their mission is to entertain.
