Students commence their individualised Kumon programmes at the ‘just right’ start point, carefully ascertained by a free diagnostic test. They then work through a daily programme designed to match their individual capacity to consolidate their subject foundation before moving on, over time, to study material that can be far ahead of their school level. Mastery, in terms of speed and accuracy, is assessed at the end of each level. Progress is charted regularly.
