Donate a Dress fundraiser this Saturday

A charity fundraiser ‘Donate a Dress’ is due to take place tomorrow November 16 at Breaffy House Hotel. The event is being run to raise much needed funds for The Alzheimer Society of Ireland branch within the county. It currently runs two separate dementia specific daycare services in Foxford and Castlebar. The centres provide care to those with Alzheimer’s disease and other forms of dementia in the towns of Castlebar and Foxford and the surrounding areas, reaching as far out as Killala and Westport. The daycare centres are opened on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays (Castlebar) and Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays (Foxford) from 10am to 3pm. Both are managed by a trained team made up of a highly qualified nurse and carers.
