A public information meeting on the Civil Partnership Bill will be held on Monday November 9 at 7.30pm in the Ruby Room, TF Royal Hotel, Castlebar.

Independent councillor Michael Holmes has hit out at the Government for its decision to slash the €200,000 it had allocated for upgrading the Castlebar to Belmullet road.
