Sports Partnership training

A four hour workshop over two evenings on the Code of Ethics and Best Practice in Sport will be held in the Mayo Education Centre, Castlebar, on Wednesday March 11 and 12. The course will start at 7.30pm each evening and finish at 9.30pm.

Family Easter party

A fun filled day for the family will take place in aid of Special Olympics on Easter Sunday from 2pm to 5.30pm in Breaffy House Resort. There will be lots of free Easter eggs, bunnies from Petworld, a bouncing castle, face painting, live music by Silver Circus, and an egg hunt. Admission is €5 per person or €20 per family (two adults and three children).

Woman stole from two Castlebar stores

A 39-year-old woman, who after being charged by gardaí for stealing from a Castlebar store committed the same offence later on the same day, appeared before Castlebar District Court on Wednesday.
