The Choose Life-Reach Out group in Mayo is currently running an art competition for schools in the area to re-design a support card for the Choose Life-Reach Out campaign. The art competition is open to 13 to 18-year-olds to redesign a support card and flyer for public circulation.

The issue of late night opening of takeaways in Ballina was raised at the Ballina joint policing committee this week.
