A simple ceremony in memory of road traffic victims

On Saturday May 11, a ‘Long Short Walk’ will take place in Mullingar in memory of road traffic victims.

Organised by the Irish Road Victims Association, the walk will start at 1pm, and will take participants from one beautiful location to another, from the Bloomfield Hotel to Belvdere House and Gardens - a distance of one mile - in honour and memory of the family and friends lost to road traffic accidents.

At Belvedere the group will gather at the tree and bench and release lanterns. There will be no speeches or anything formal, just this simple action.

The Irish Road Victims Association supports those bereaved or injured by road collisions and campaigns for justice and recognition for road crash victims.

Your presence will speak volumes for those lost and damaged.
