Clann Machua Drama Group are busy rehearsing for their production of Conversations on a Homecoming which they will present in the Townhall Theatre in Kiltimagh from Thursday, February 19 to Saturday, February 21. This iconic Tom Murphy Play was written in 1985 and celebrating its thirtieth anniversary this year and is set in a pub small town in east Galway.

Exercise is the best way to help manage pain and maintain mobility. It is also a great way to develop better fitness and have some fun. Common sense parenting course in Ballina

Ballina Neighbourhood Youth Project is running a common sense parenting course beginning in February. The course runs for six weeks, one morning a week in the NYP on Pearse Street. Common sense parenting provides parents of children aged six to 16 years with a menu of proven techniques that will aid them in building good family relationships, preventing and correcting misbehaviour, using consequences to improve behaviour, teaching self control, and staying calm.
