$13 million investment for Creganna Medical Galway

Creganna Medical, part of TE Connectivity, has announced that it is to invest a further $13 million in its Galway facilities to enable the continued growth of the company’s medical device business in Ireland.

Creganna Medical specialises in the design and manufacturing of minimally invasive medical devices, serving the world’s leading medical technology companies. This significant investment will enable the company to accelerate its manufacturing capabilities and technical innovation from its Galway campus to meet continued high demand from customers worldwide.

Creganna Medical was acquired in 2016 by TE Connectivity, a $12 billion global technology leader. This investment supports TE Connectivity’s strategy to maintain its current market leadership position and accelerate growth in its medical business unit.

Creganna Medical employs more than 1,000 people at its Parkmore, Galway, campus and is the global headquarters for TE Connectivity’s medical business.
