Frances Black and Kieran Goss head to Claremorris

A quarter of a century after the smash success of duo Frances Black and Kieran Goss, details have been announced of an All Ireland reunion tour in February 2017. Since the days of their partnership, both Kieran and Frances have enjoyed huge international success in their respective solo careers, but it was the inspired pairing of these two talents as a duo in the early nineties that first caught the imagination of the public.

The duo are setting out on a 15 date national tour, to follow up on their sell out tour last year, which will stop off in Claremorris Town Hall on Saturday February 25. Speaking about the tour Goss said: "It had been such a long time since we worked together that we were both nervous, but from the very first song of the first show, we knew we were doing the right thing. The audience sang every song with us, the whole evening felt like a meeting up of old friends, and both Frances and I loved every minute of it. We're delighted to be offered this opportunity to play more shows together. We may even turn our reunion into an annual event!"

On the tour the pair sing some of Frances' hits like "Wall of Tears", "All The Lies", and "Talk to Me", and Kieran's hits "Out of My Head" and "Reasons To Leave", as well as new tracks and music from their joint 1991 album. Alongside the music there is plenty of storytelling and fun with the audience and it is no surprise that the tour dates look set to sell out.
