Do you want to teach in England or Wales?

Teach In is an organisation that finds long-term jobs in England and Wales for teachers wishing to move from Ireland.

The organisation understands that deciding to take a new job in England is a big step and you will have many questions. For this reason, Teach In are touring Ireland at the end of November to meet teachers who are either currently training or have finished their courses who might consider making the move across the water.

They will tell you all about what to expect and answer any questions you may have. See the advertisement in the business section of this paper.

The events will cover the following topics:

The training you will receive to ensure you are prepared for the difference in curriculum and expectations of British schools.

The support specific schools can give specifically to Irish teachers who are moving.

How Teach In can support you to build a network of others in the same boat.

The different areas of England and Wales.
