The home side had 4-3 win away to Castlebar Celtic and will hope they can bring that goalscoring form with them into this game. Kyile O'Reilly hit a double in their win over Castlebar Celtic, while Eamon Carey and Ivan Barrett also netted. Ballyheane lost of in another high scoring encounter going down 3-2 to Manulla, to bring a good run of form to an end for the Quigley Park club. Both teams have found their feet after shaky starts to the season and this should be a exciting encounter.

The homeside find themselves rock bottom of the league with just one point to show for from their six league games so far, but this could be the game where they turn their fortunes around. Celtic have been very indifferent so far this season and have just two wins under their belt in the league so far. They'll be cursing their luck that they lost out in a seven goal thriller last weekend in the cup and with Paul Fitzpatrick in good goalscoring form they got goals in them if they can click.

Charlestown Athleitc v Westport United

Will the empire strike back? Is the big question this weekend. Last weekend the champions were tuned over in impressive style by high-flying newboys Ballyglass in the Sports Park, with former striker JP O'Gorman coming back to haunt them by bagging a hat-trick. John Brennan is still finding his feet in the dug out of the champions and has shown his not afraid to mix things up. The hosts haven't been flying in the league this season with just one win to their name from their six games so far, so it looks on paper the perfect game for United to get back up and running after last week's dissappointment.

Manulla v Ballina Town

Now this should be the game of the weekend, Manulla have effortlessly moved into high gear in recent weeks and they've booked their spot in the Westaro Cup final last weekend thanks to a 3-2 win over Ballyheane with Gary Concannon bagging a brace in normal time before Gary Durkan netted an extra time penalty to send Tom Healy's men into the final. Manulla have just lost once in the league this season to Westport United and a win on Sunday will put them level on points with a Ballina Town side that have won all their league games so far this season and have looked impressive throughout the first half of the season.

Ballyglass v Straide and Foxford United

You'd have good odds on Ballyglass being top of the league with one third of the season gone, but that's exactly what's happened. The Candy Stripes started the season in brilliant form and had a little dip a few weeks ago, but they got back to winning ways in some style last weekend. A 3-1 win over the champions on the road last Sunday was earned thanks to a JP O'Gorman hat-trick. The Ballinrobe native has been lighting up the scoring charts this season and will fancy his chances of bagging another hat-full of goals against a side that have conceeded 23 goals in the league already this season. The points look to be heading only one one way in this game.
