Mayo launches player welfare lotto

GAA: News

The Mayo GAA players have become the first county to launch an exciting new players fund lotto ahead of their upcoming clash with Galway in Pearse Stadium. It’s a lotto with a difference, as all funds raised through this lotto are ringfenced for the sole purpose of the training and welfare of the county panels from underage up, across all codes both football and hurling. It is a lotto promoted by the players for the benefit of the players.

Every year Mayo GAA, like many other counties, depend on their panel of players to provide huge commitment towards football and hurling. They put in huge hours of their time training, preparing and playing for our county, and it was felt it was time to provide  supporters near and far with a fun and engaging means to make a significant contribution to the training and welfare of their county players.

The online lotto game is being launched with the support of Smart Lotto, which allows Mayo supporters near and far to participate and play the lotto from any smart phone device. Supporters can play directly from their social media or by going directly to game.smartlotto.ie and searching the Mayo GAA Players Fund. Alternatively just go to www.mayogaa.com and click on the relevant link. The prize will be a minimum jackpot of €5,000 with additional cash prizes, free tickets, signed jerseys, etc, to be won on a weekly basis.

You can play for as little as €2 once off or play as many lines as you like for as many weeks as you like, giving you full control of how much and how often you want to support. Find more information by logging onto www.mayogaa.com
