Breaffy farmer John Barrett is the cream of the crop when it comes to the quality of his milk.
The dairy man was one of eight Aurivo milk suppliers recognised for their top quality milk production at the recent Aurivo Milk Quality Awards held in Kilronan Castle.
Now in its eighth year, the awards identify and reward milk suppliers who reach the highest standards in milk production.
Mr Barrett won the Lowest TBC Liquid Milk category at the awards. This means the milk has a very low total bacterial count, which is essential for quality, clean milk.
Tom Cunniffe, chairman of Aurivo, described Mr Barrett as an "outstanding ambassador" for the dairy farming sector.
