Gardaí in Ballina are preparing a file for the Director of Public Prosecutions in relation to the alleged arson attack at the office of Deputy Michelle Mulherin last month.
This follows the re-arrest and questioning of a 39-year-old man last weekend.
A small fire broke out in Deputy Mulherin’s office on January 27 last. The fire is believed to have been caused by a petrol bomb.
