To celebrate National Volunteer Week, Mayo Volunteer Centre is hosting an open day at its offices today (May 16 ) from 10am to 4pm.
Visitors are welcome for a cuppa and a chat at the Mayo Volunteer centres on Cathedral Road, Ballina, and Le Cheile Family Resource Centre, Tucker Street, Castlebar.
The centre is currently advertising more than 200 different volunteer role vacancies, which include everything from beach clean-ups to IT tutoring to befriending and festival assistants.
