New Irish theatre at the Linenhall

Bigger Picture Projects presents the poignant and humorous play Postscript, exploring the theme of adoption, at the Linenhall Arts Centre in Castlebar on Tuesday, May 27, at 8 pm.

Postscript presents the account of a woman-turned-detective on a mission to reveal the truth.

A highly acclaimed production from its premiere run at Dublin Fringe 2013, Postscript is written by Noelle Brown and Michéle Forbes, performed by Noelle Brown and Bríd Ní Neachtain, and directed by Conor Hanratty.

The Irish Times describes it as: “A moving story stoically enacted by Brown and Bríd Ní Neachtain, who beautifully brings to life the letters that form the linchpin of Browne’s journey…..powerful piece of work.”

Irish Theatre Magazine called it a “haunting retrospective that makes you question the family history written on your face and buried in your genes”.

Booking is advised. Telephone (094 ) 9023733 or book online at www.thelinenhall.com The Linenhall Arts Centre acknowledges the financial support of the Arts Council in making this performance possible.
