A leading online wedding magazine has listed three exclusive Mayo venues among the country’s top 100 places to get married. Onefabday.com included the Mount Falcon and the Ice House, Ballina, and Ashford Castle, Cong, in its independent guide, 100 Best Wedding Venues 2014, which was published earlier this week.
The guide describes Ashford Castle as a dreamy Downtown Abbey style location while praising Mount Falcon’s “fine food, beautiful surroundings and impeccable service”.
The guide also highlights the Ice House’s “cute cottage exterior” which belies a cutting edge interior design.
