At a well attended meeting of Ballina branch of Fine Gael held this week the branch nominated Councillor Mark Winters to go forward to convention for selection of candidates, in the newly extended Ballina electoral area, in the forthcoming Mayo County Council elections.
Cllr Winters has served as a member of Ballina Town council since 2003, and held the position of chairman in 2006/2007. He has been involved in many local organisations. No date has been set for convention as yet.
