Man charged with arson attacks
A Ballina man has been charged with two counts of arson relating to two separate incidents which occurred on June 24 2012.
Ballina District Court heard that Thomas Humber, 1 The Commons, Foxford Road, Ballina, was arrested in relation to an arson attack on a garage, which is attached to a residence, at Low Park, Charlestown, and also an arson attack on a vehicle which was parked outside Swinford Garda Station.
Bail was granted by Judge Mary Devins, and Humber was remanded to Ballina District Court on July 24 2012. A number of conditions were attached to his bail; that he sign on daily at Ballina Garda Station; that he adheres to a curfew from 9pm to 8am; that he abstains from alcohol and resides with his mother at the given address. The State were given liberty to re-enter.
