Delighted winner Mairéad Egan and her husband John had plenty to smile about when they visited National Lottery offices in Dublin on Wednesday. Lucky Mairéad revealed seven platinum bars on her All Cash Platinum scratch card to win the fantastic top prize of €50,000.
“I’m just so happy,” said Ms Egan, who is from Knock. “I can’t believe my luck. Seven is my lucky number so it’s just fantastic that I had the seven platinum bars on my scratch card.”
Ms Egan and her husband currently have no plans for the win, preferring to take some time before making any decisions.
The lucky ticket was purchased in Smyths, Claremorris.
