Mayo schools received International Green Flag awards

Teachers and children from 35 Mayo schools attended An Taisce’s International Green Flag award ceremony in Galway.

Each of the attending schools was presented with the prestigious Green Flag award from An Taisce. The award is given to a school following the successful implementation of its Green Schools Environmental Programme and for some schools it was their third Green Flag Award.
