Gold award for Lyrath and Rivercourt
Murali Dharan group executive housekeeper at both the Lyrath Estate Hotel and sister property the Kilkenny River Court Hotel, brought home Gold for both hotels at the recent IASI awards which took place on Saturday January 28 in Sligo.
The (IASI) Irish Accommodation Services Institute is a national body representing the professional interests of the accommodation industry throughout Ireland. Now in its 27th year it is very active in promoting best practice standards across the accommodation field.
Annually the IASI sends to the accommodation provider, a list of standards which should be met in order to be eligible for an award. Members and non-members alike can enter in the hope of receiving this highly coveted award.
The four-star Kilkenny Rivercourt has achieved the Gold award for excellence in Accommodation Services Standards as set out by the IASI (Irish Accommodation Services Institute).
The highlight of the evening came when out of the Gold category Lyrath Estate was chosen and received the Supreme Winner Award for Ireland, recognising its standards of cleanliness and dedication to service as being at the forefront of the Irish hospitality industry.
