Jesters Stage Academy Kilkenny has come together to raise awareness and help the children of Crumlin by creating a Christmas CD. The CD will be available from Woodie’s in Dublin and local stores in Kilkenny where you see the poster.
The CD is priced at €5 and Jesters would greatly appreciate any support given to this worthwhile cause. Jesters’ Christmas CD is showcasing three songs; One Day (A child’s prayer) is on licence from Dean Friedman, Letter to Santa, by Cathal Mulhal and John Travers, and The Kissing Gate by Murty Brennan. Olivia Smith who works with Jesters says: “This project was one of the most enjoyable and worthwhile with kids helping kids.”
Jesters began in Kilkenny 1998 and students range from five years to 18 years. It strives to enhance children’s social and personal skills.
Why not support this worthy cause this Christmas and raise some much-needed money for sick children at Christmas time. Crumlin is Ireland’s largest paediatric hospital and much of its funding arises out of voluntary fundraising events such as this.
The hospital provides a high standard of care to the children and it needs ongoing support. CDs are on sale now in local stores in Kilkenny including Woodies.
