WexWorlds Sci fi and Fantasy Fiction Festival

Wexford town is to be invaded by science fiction and fantasy fiction authors and artists for a fun-filled festival showcasing readings, signings, panel talks and workshops and loads of activities for all ages this weekend.

Over the course of the weekend a variety of activities will be taking place including, talks and readings, science experiments, comic art workshops, sci-fi and fantasy fiction- themed costume, art and lego workshops for children and adults, discussions about fantastic literature and performance events including The Wild WexWorlds Cabaret.

The events will be scattered around various venues in Wexford town to include Wexford Arts Centre, Wexford Library, bookstores, related businesses and hotels and the heritage park. All within close range.

Events include Eoin Colfer, Ian McDonald, Alex Scarrow, Peadar Ó Guilín and David Donohue, workshops, science experiments, comic art workshops, Astronomy Ireland, Bui Bolg, our Super Hero of the Year - photo competition, a Star Wars Mini Marathon excerpts review and much much more.
