Three-in-row champs dominate GPA awards

The Cats dominated and cleaned up in the Vodafone GAA All-Stars last month and now it looks like the honours will also go their way in this year’s Gaelic Player Awards.
Kilkenny have nine representatives in total in this year’s GPA line up: Michael Kavanagh, Noel Hickey, Jackie Tyrrell, JJ Delaney, Eoin Larkin, Eddie Brennan, Tommy Walsh, James ‘Cha’ Fitzpatrick and Henry Shefflin.
Waterford have two players included - John Mullane and Eoin Kelly - while Tipperary's Brendan Cummins, Conor O' Mahony and Shane McGrath are also part of the team.
The final place goes to Cork stalwart Ben O'Connor. The GPA awards will take place this Friday (tomorrow) at 7pm in the City West Hotel.
