New mobile library for Kilkenny
Fianna Fail deputy Bobby Aylward has warmly welcomed the news that Kilkenny County Council is to receive a grant of €162,088 for the provision of a replacement mobile library for the county.
“For those in rural areas and in areas removed from a permanent library service the service provided by the mobile library bus is invaluable,” says Deputy Aylward.
“It is important in these difficult economic times to ensure that the services provided to rural Ireland are maintained at as high a level as possible.
“I know from speaking with my neighbours and constituents, the enjoyment they get from the regular visit of the library service. This enjoyment is not alone from the books that they take out but also from the banter and interaction with the excellent staff of the service,” concluded the Kilkenny TD.”
