Beat 102-103FM have come up with yet another novel idea to get their listeners involved in programming and this time it involves finding a ringing mobile phone, and answering it with the phrase that pays.
Beat 102-103, which broadcasts to counties Waterford, Wexford, Kilkenny, South Tipperary and Carlow, has teamed up with leading Irish mobile network Meteor, to bring you Meteor Money Mobiles!
From Monday September 14, Beat listeners will hear cryptic clues about a location in the south-east where the Meteor Money Mobiles handset is expertly hidden. During the course of the day, Beat presenters will call the phone, setting off the Meteor Money Mobiles ring tone. Across the south-east listeners will be urging people around them to be quiet as they keep an ear out for the Meteor ring-tone that could win them thousands of euros in cash prizes!
The first lucky person to find the ringing handset, answer it and say the phrase that pays ‘Meteor Money Mobiles’ wins a Roaming Reward, a cash prize marked on the tag attached to the phone! Beat listeners will also have the chance to win Meteor handsets and phone credit so keep your ears alert for the cryptic clues coming soon!
So keep your eyes and ears open for the ringing mobile and pick it up if it rings - you could be in with a chance to win!
