The young Kilkenny woman accused of murdering her brother in Castlecomer in December last year has requested the Central Criminal Court to set her trial at a venue in Waterford or Clonmel.
Eighteen years old Caroline Brennan, of Love Lane, Castlecomer, Co Kilkenny, is accused of murdering her 22-year-old brother, Michael Brennan, at a house party on Barrack Street, Castlecomer, on December 30, 2008.
Ms Brennan’s case was in the list to fix dates this week.
The hearing has now been put back until next Monday to allow the court to determine whether or not her request can be granted.
