Surreal Canadian for The Comedy Club

Imagine Harry Potter was a Canadian non-wizard, in his mid-thirties, who writes very funny jokes with his big hands. Such a description could sum up Tony Law.

Tony Law, probably the most inventive and definitely one of the funniest comics on the circuit today, headlines the Comedy Club at Cuba* this Friday.

With a fuzzy charm and bizarre warped mindset, Tony lives in his own little world. His laid-back style scorching jokes and incisive remarks have endeared him to audiences around the world at all the major comedy festivals.

Support comes from local hotshot John Donnellan and Gerry Mallon is the MC. Tickets are available in advance at Bar 903, The Cellar Bar, and at the door which opens at 8.30pm. For Christmas party bookings phone 091 - 565991.

Coming up at The Comedy Club on December 19 is Colm McDonnell and James Goldsbury with Ian Coppinger, Danny Bhoy, and Maeve Higgins coming in the New Year.
