Youngsters show their photographic abilities in Space Invaders Gallery

A diverse exhibition of photos and images produced by young people is to open at the Space Invaders Art Gallery, The Cornstore, Galway, today.

The exhibition is the result of a nationwide project undertaken by young people involved with Youth Advocate Programmes Ireland (YAP), which is an advocacy and support organisation that works in partnership with young people, families, and communities. Each young person who participated was encouraged to create an original image around a series of themes that include: What makes my world go round; community; life in my town; and self portraiture.
