Galway Theatre Festival seeks new festival director

Galway Theatre Festival has advertised the role of festival director, with the current holder of the post, Máiréad Ní Chróinín, having announced she will be standing down in June, having overseen the last four festivals.

“The festival is a wonderful opportunity for an early to mid-career arts professional to lead a young but important arts organisation in Galway,” said Ní Chróinín. “I’ve thoroughly enjoyed my time with GTF - it’s been wonderful to meet and partner with other arts and community organisations in Galway, and to lead a festival that supports so many of the young artists who are creating new and exciting work in the city and county.”
