Witnesses sought to Corrandulla crash

Gardai are appealing for witnesses following a collision which occurred in the Corrandulla area on November 14 at around 8.50am.

he incident resulted in contact between the wing mirror of a white saloon vehicle, possibly an Audi A4, and the wing mirror of a silver VW Polo. This was subsequently reported to Tuam Garda Station and efforts are under way to contact the driver of the white saloon vehicle.

Any witness, or anyone with information in relation to this incident, is asked to contact Tuam Garda station at 091 22475.

Alloy wheels stolen in Oranmore

Gardai in Oranmore are appealing for information following the theft of alloy wheels and lights from a car parked in Oranmore last weekend.

The incident happened between 6.30pm and 9pm on Sunday November 26.

Four alloy wheels and the back lights were stolen from a black Volkswagen Golf estate while it was parked outside an apartment in Dunkellin.

These apartments are situated across from the church in Oranmore village. Anyone who witnessed anything suspicious in the area is asked to contact Oranmore Garda Station on 091 388030.

Gardai would like to remind shoppers to be extra vigiliant in the run-up to Christmas when using their debit and/or credit cards to carry out transactions. Ensure you cover your PIN when inputting it and also ensure you remove your card from the machine. Always be aware of who is around you when you are withdrawing money from an ATM or using your card in a shop.

Car damaged in Headford Road incident

Gardai are investigating an incident in which a car was damaged while parked in the car park outside Argos on the Headford Road, Galway.

A black Audi A5 was parked on Saturday November 25 at 6pm when damage was caused to the driver's side of the vehicle. Any witnesses to this incident are asked to contact Galway Garda Station on 091 538000.
