Anne Robinson flies first class into Galway with Aer Arann
The Weakest Link hostess Anne Robinson, known best for her sharp tongue and icy wit, flew into Galway this week after asking for priority seating.
In a “Don’t you know who I am?” tone of voice, the ‘Queen of Mean’ asked that air stewards give her priority boarding and separate seating. It seemed that Robinson did not want to be recognised by passengers who could potentially bombard the presenter with her famous catchphrase.
Robinson was overheard telling the airport desk that she could disguise her face, but that her voice would give her away. She was sitting at seat one at the front of the plane for the duration of the flight.
The multi-millionaire has another six months to get used to slumming it on public transport, as she was banned from driving in July for committing her fourth speeding offence. It seems she is living up to the title of her autobiography, Memoirs of an Unfit Mother.
