Bitch Falcon to descend on Galway

Band to play FEAST/Strange Brew gig and release new single 'Of Heart'

ON FRIDAY November 24, Bitch Falcon release their new single 'Of Heart'. The day before, they play a FEAST night at Strange Brew in the Róisín Dubh as part of their current Irish tour.

Following a string of shows in London and Montreal this summer, and the addition of new member in bassist Barry O'Sullivan, Dublin's Bitch Falcon return with their most melodic track to date, without too much toning down of their exciting grunge/metal/hardcore/electro-pop fusion.

Recorded in parts by Robin Ball in the former Bow Lane Studios, and Orphan Recording Studios, in Dublin, 'Of Heart' will be familiar to many fans having long been a staple of their live sets. However the band were concerned that a final studio rendition had to meet a certain standard before being released.

"The song has been hidden away and kept from release while we finalised the arrangement which changed gradually over the course of about four years," says drummer Nigel Kenny. "This track has a very strong, personal, subject matter and as a result it was carefully cradled, cajoled, encouraged, and moulded into the final result."

Bitch Falcon play the Róisín Dubh on Thursday November 23 at 9pm. Tickets are available at www.roisindubh.net, the Ticket Desk at OMG Zhivago, Shop Street, and The Róisín Dubh.
