Over The Edge Open Reading at Galway City Library

Oisín Fagan, Dara Ó Foghlu, and Paul Denby

THE WRITERS Oisín Fagan, Dara Ó Foghlu, and Paul Denby will read at the next Over The Edge: Open Reading in Galway City Library on Thursday September 28, from 6.30pm to 8pm.

Oisín Fagan is a fiction writer and activist. He is a language teacher and also works with the Irish Housing Network. His stories have been published in The Stinging Fly, New Planet Cabaret, and Young Irelanders. He also won the inaugural Penny Dreadful Novella Prize for The Hierophants. Hostages, his first collection of short stories, was published in 2016 by New Island. The stories of Galwegian Dara Ó Foghlu have been been published in Ropes and The Atlantis Collective. Paul Denby works as a software engineer and also writes poetry. The shortlist for this year’s Over The Edge New Writer of the Year competition will be announced.

The MC for the event will be Susan Millar DuMars. There will also be an open mic after the featured readers. All are welcome and admission is free.
