'Til They’re All Broken's album launch at Monroe's Live

'Til They're All Broken will launch their new album at Monroe's Live's Backstage Bar on Thursday September 14.

'Til They’re All Broken is a funk-rock group, based in Galway that features vocal led funk-rock stylings with a dose of instrumental jazz and world music flavourings. The kinetic trio features Harold Wolk on guitar and vocals, Bruno Pierucci on bass and backing vocals, and John Tierney on drums, percussion, and backing vocals.

These like-minded, musical risk-takers, derive their collective sound from divergent historical living environments and varied life experiences. Wolk is from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Pierucci is from Bariloche, Argentina, and Tierney is from Kilkenny. These contrasting perspectives help to inform their unique approach to their diverse and varied original compositions.

The compositions and arrangements, are, in part, inspired by the some of the great bands and musical deviants of the last 75 years. Such irreverent characters and groups such as Frank Zappa, Led Zeppelin, James Brown, Gentle Giant, Miles Davis, early Red Hot Chilli Peppers, King Crimson, and The Buena Vista Social Club have left an indelible mark, for better or worse, on the band’s members.

The trio are releasing their debut, full length musical offering, Outside the Lines, on September 14.

‘Til They’re All Broken, the name, is inspired by a long lost brother, Chuckie Geis.

Doors open at 9pm with free admission.
