GRETB Training Centre to hold open day

The GRETB Training Centre will launches its range of training courses for autumn 2017 at its open day next month.

The GRETB Training Centre open day 2017 takes place on Wednesday September 6 from 10.30am to 3.30pm.

The open day is the ideal opportunity to visit the largest training centre in the west of Ireland.

On the day learners will be able to access information on the range of day, evening, and Saturday courses. Information will also be available on apprenticeships and attendees can also avail of a career advisory service.

The GRETB training centre is continuously developing new courses to meet the needs of learners and industry.

It has developed strong links with local employers who offer valuable work experience for many of our courses which may lead to full time employment.

Courses available include sports and recreation; computer aided design; door security; accounting technician; reception and clerical skills; cleanroom and manufacturing; bus, rigid, and artic HGV driving; engineering; software development and networking; and traineeships such as beauty therapy, pharmacy sales, and digital sales and marketing.

The centre has fully equipped classrooms, IT suites, and workshops for instrumentation, carpentry and joinery, electrical, motor mechanics, metal fabrication, and welding.

GRETB also has one of the only dedicated training cleanrooms in Europe.

All courses are certified and accredited by nationally and internationally recognised examining and professional bodies.

The training centre offers literacy and numeracy support services tailored to course content.
