Leisureland is situated just across from the stunning Galway Bay, where views of the ocean can be enjoyed while exercising. The extensive pool area contains a 25 metre, six lane, competitive deck level pool, sauna, and steam room. For children over the age of seven, or enthusiastic teens and adults, there is an exhilarating 65 metre waterslide. Alternatively children under the age of 16 are welcome to try the inflatable obstacle course in the main pool.
Since reopening in 2014, Leisureland now runs its own Swim Academy, catering for all levels with plenty of sessions from which to choose. Children will be taught to swim in a fun, relaxed, environment, giving them a love of water, while teaching essential water skills. As well as qualified swimming instructors with years of experience, there is also a team of lifeguards on hand to make sure your child learns to swim in a safe and fun environment.
By becoming a member of Leisureland Fitness you will enjoy a wealth of benefits and facilities. The state of the art gymnasium offers a wide array of affordable memberships with no joining fee. The gymnasium offers cardiovascular equipment with integrated personal TVs, extensive fixed and free weight area, fully air conditioned hall, and complimentary use of the swimming pool. The facilities are disability friendly with IFI accredited equipment. In addition to this, the experienced gym instructors will design personalised programmes for every member.
For those who prefer outdoor activities the mini golf course is open all year round. There is also a range of birthday party packages available including swimming session, mini golf, and birthday buffet.
