Elvis is alive and well in Monroe's

Tribute show to The King of Rock'n'Roll takes place next week

AUGUST 2017 will mark the 40th anniversary of the death of 'The King of Rock'n'Roll' - Elvis Presley, and in advance of that, a major Elvis tribute show is coming to Monroe's Live.

Leading Irish Elvis impersonator Kevin Doyle, and his 12 piece the ‘Way it Was’ Orchestra, will perform music spanning The King's career, from his rock'n'roll hits of the 1950s to the 1968 ‘comeback’ TV special, and the hits of the 1970s. The show has been praised by Ray Walker, bass singer with The Jordanaires and a friend of Presley, who commented: “Elvis would be proud.”

Kevin Doyle plays on Sunday March 12 at 7.30pm. Tickets are €20/18. See www.monroes.ie
