Tony Law - the King of post-modern nonsense'

Surreal Canadian comic to play Róísín Dubh Comedy Clubh

TONY LAW might be the closest thing to experiencing nonsense nirvana. The Daily Telegraph crowned him "the King of post-modern nonsense", while The Guardian said he "takes post-modern stand-up to a dangerously funny new level".

Galway audiences will be able to see for themselves when Law plays the Róísín Dubh Comedy Clubh tomorrow, and according to The Times, “chaos has rarely been so finely constructed and this much fun".

A three-time Chortle Award winner, Amused Moose Best Show winner, and Fosters Edinburgh Comedy Award nominee, Law's extensive TV credits include Celebrity Mastermind and Have I Got News For You (BBC 1 ), Never Mind The Buzzcocks and Charlie Brooker’s Weekly Wipe (BBC 2 ), 8 Out Of 10 Cats (Channel 4 ), and The Alternative Comedy Experience (Comedy Central ).

Support is from Nigerian-Irish comic Emman Idama, the Beat The Frog Winner 2016, while the MC is Karl Spain. Doors are at 9pm. Tickets are €10/8 in advance from OMG@Zhivago, Shop Street; Róisín Dubh; roisindubh.net; or €12.50 on the door.
